Dr. Natasha Larson was born and raised in La Crosse, Wisconsin. As an active and adventurous child, she sustained her fair share of dental trauma, culminating in 4 years of orthodontic headgear and braces. She learned to appreciate early on the importance of good oral health and positive dental experiences. Dr. Larson’s main goal as a pediatric dentist is to recreate those positive experiences for her patients, promoting healthy, beautiful smiles from infancy that will last a lifetime.
Dr. "Natasha" (as some patients refer to her) received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then decided to leave her Midwestern roots to pursue a dental education at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her DMD. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Boston University in 2008, Dr. Larson went on to complete a one-year intense hospital-based residency at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, where she received further training in general dentistry with an emphasis on the management of dental and facial trauma. It was during this year that she learned two very important things: her passion for treating children and her love of New York City. Dr. Larson left the Big Apple for two years to complete her specialty training at the University of Connecticut/Connecticut Children’s Medical Center before enthusiastically returning to Manhattan to serve the children of the greater New York City area.
Dr. Larson is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Society, the Nassau County Dental Society and the New York County Dental Society. She is a board eligible member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Larson is very excited to be planning a mission trip to Chile in January of 2014 to provide dental treatment to the underserved children of rural Chile.
Dr. Larson lives in the Flatiron/Chelsea area of Manhattan. When she is not having fun at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves traveling, experiencing new adventures, cooking, watching movies and playing as well as watching most sports. Her favorite sports teams are the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.
